The Hydraforce 5636007.18 (Material Number: 5636007.18) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, pilot-operated (two-stage), spool-type relief valve designed for use as a pressure-limiting device in demanding hydraulic circuits requiring fast response and low hysteresis. This valve effectively blocks flow from port 1 to port 2 until sufficient pressure at port 1 forces the pilot relief off its seat, allowing the main stage to shift and open port 1 to port 2. It is important to note that this valve is not suitable for cross-over relief applications. Key features include adjustments that cannot be backed out of the valve, preventing springs from going solid, and a hardened spool and cage for extended durability. The valve offers optional spring ranges up to 240 bar (3500 psi), ensuring rapid and smooth response to pressure surges while maintaining cost-effectiveness due to its efficient cavity design.
