The Hydraforce 5635120.23 (5635120.23) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, pilot-operated spool type relief valve designed for use as a pressure limiting device in demanding hydraulic circuits requiring fast response and low hysteresis. This RV12-26X model efficiently blocks flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 reaches a level sufficient to unseat the pilot relief, prompting the main stage to shift and allowing flow between the ports. Notably, this valve is unsuitable for cross-over relief applications. Key features include adjustments that cannot be backed out of the valve, ensuring that springs do not go solid, and a hardened spool and cage for enhanced durability. Additionally, it offers optional spring ranges up to 240 bar (3500 psi), providing rapid and smooth responses to pressure surges while maintaining cost-effectiveness with its cavity design.
