The Hydraforce 5624301.M221 (5624301.M221) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, pilot-operated (two-stage), spool-type relief valve designed for use as a pressure-limiting device in demanding hydraulic circuits that require fast response and low hysteresis. This valve operates by blocking flow from port 1 to port 2 until sufficient pressure at port 1 forces the pilot relief off its seat, allowing the main stage to shift and open port 1 to port 2. It is important to note that this valve cannot be used in cross-over relief applications. The RV52-26X model features adjustments that cannot be backed out of the valve, with adjustment options A, B, and C providing positive stops to prevent springs from going solid. Additionally, the hardened spool and cage ensure long life and durability. The valve offers rapid and smooth response to pressure surges while maintaining cost-effectiveness with its cavity design.
