This pilot-operated, two-stage spool type relief valve efficiently limits pressure by blocking flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 exceeds a certain threshold, prompting the pilot relief to open and allowing the main stage to shift and open the flow path. Notably, this valve is not suitable for cross-over relief applications. It features adjustment options A, B, and C with positive stops to prevent spring solidification, ensuring reliable operation. The hardened spool and cage components contribute to the valve's longevity, while its rapid response capability effectively manages pressure surges in cost-effective cavity configurations.
