This pilot-operated, two-stage spool-type valve functions as a pressure-limiting device by blocking flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 reaches a level sufficient to unseat the piloting relief. Once this occurs, the main spool shifts, allowing flow between the ports. It is important to note that this specific model cannot be used in cross-over relief applications.
