This RV16-26X model acts as a pressure-limiting device, effectively blocking flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 reaches a level sufficient to unseat the piloting relief. This action allows the main spool to shift, thereby opening the pathway between port 1 and port 2. It is important to note that this valve is not suitable for cross-over relief applications.
