The Hydraforce 5623543.22 (5623543.22) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, pilot-operated (two-stage), spool-type relief valve designed for use as a pressure-limiting device in demanding hydraulic circuits that require fast response and low hysteresis. The RV16-26X model blocks flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 is sufficient to activate the piloting relief, which then allows the main spool to shift and open the flow from port 1 to port 2. This operation ensures precise control over hydraulic system pressure levels, preventing potential damage due to overpressure conditions. However, it is important to note that this valve is not suitable for cross-over relief applications. Its robust design makes it ideal for systems where rapid response and minimal hysteresis are critical performance factors.
