The Hydraforce 5623503.M160 (5623503.M160) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, pilot-operated (two-stage), spool-type relief valve designed to function as a pressure-limiting device in demanding hydraulic circuits. Known for its fast response and low hysteresis, the RV16-26X model effectively manages hydraulic pressure by blocking flow from port 1 to port 2 until a predetermined pressure level is reached at port 1. Once this pressure is achieved, the piloting relief is forced off its seat, allowing the main (second stage) spool to shift and open port 1 to port 2. This valve is specifically engineered for applications that demand precise pressure control but cannot be used in cross-over relief applications. The robust design and reliable performance of this valve make it suitable for high-pressure hydraulic systems where quick response times are critical.
