The Hydraforce 5623501.M20 (5623501.M20) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, pilot-operated spool-type relief valve designed for pressure limiting in demanding hydraulic circuits. This two-stage valve is engineered to provide fast response and low hysteresis, making it suitable for applications requiring precise pressure control. The RV16-26X model operates by blocking flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 reaches a level sufficient to unseat the piloting relief, which then allows the main spool to shift and open the pathway between port 1 and port 2. It is important to note that this valve is not suitable for use in cross-over relief applications.
