The Hydraforce 5623501.04 (5623501.04) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, pilot-operated spool type relief valve designed for use as a pressure-limiting device in demanding hydraulic circuits. This particular model, known as the RV16-26X, is engineered for applications that require fast response and low hysteresis. The valve operates by blocking flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 is sufficient to unseat the piloting relief. This action allows the main spool to shift, subsequently opening port 1 to port 2 and relieving pressure. It is important to note that this valve cannot be utilized in cross-over relief applications.
