The Hydraforce 5623404.22.5 (Material Number: 5623404.22.5) is a high-performance RV12-26X screw-in, cartridge-style, pilot-operated (two-stage), spool-type relief valve designed for use as a pressure-limiting device in demanding hydraulic circuits that require fast response and low hysteresis. This valve effectively blocks flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 reaches a level sufficient to unseat the pilot relief, allowing the main stage to shift and open port 1 to port 2. Notably, this valve is not suitable for cross-over relief applications. Key features include adjustments that cannot be backed out of the valve, preventing springs from going solid, and a hardened spool and cage for enhanced durability. The product also offers optional spring ranges up to 240 bar (3500 psi) and ensures rapid, smooth response to pressure surges while maintaining cost-effective cavity design.
