The Hydraforce 5623402.06 (Material Number: 5623402.06) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, pilot-operated (two-stage), spool-type relief valve designed for use as a pressure-limiting device in demanding hydraulic circuits that require fast response and low hysteresis. This valve effectively blocks flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 is sufficient to unseat the pilot relief, allowing the main stage to shift and open port 1 to port 2. It is important to note that this valve cannot be used in cross-over relief applications. The design features include adjustments that cannot be backed out of the valve, preventing springs from going solid, and a hardened spool and cage for extended product life. Additionally, it offers optional spring ranges up to 240 bar (3500 psi) and provides rapid, smooth response to pressure surges while being cost-effective for its cavity application.
