The Hydraforce 5623401.M14 (5623401.M14) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, pilot-operated (two-stage), spool-type relief valve designed for use as a pressure-limiting device in demanding hydraulic circuits that require fast response and low hysteresis. This valve effectively blocks flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 is sufficient to unseat the pilot relief, allowing the main stage to shift and open port 1 to port 2. Notably, this valve is not suitable for cross-over relief applications. It features adjustments that cannot be backed out of the valve and prohibits springs from going solid, ensuring durability and reliability. The hardened spool and cage contribute to its long life, while optional spring ranges extend up to 240 bar (3500 psi). This design provides rapid and smooth response to pressure surges, making it a cost-effective solution for various hydraulic systems.
