The Hydraforce 5623304.25 (Material Number: 5623304.25) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, pilot-operated (two-stage), spool-type relief valve designed to function as a pressure-limiting device in demanding hydraulic circuits that require rapid response and minimal hysteresis. This robust valve effectively blocks flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 reaches a level sufficient to unseat the pilot relief, prompting the main stage to shift and allowing flow between the ports. Notably, this valve is not suitable for cross-over relief applications. Key features include non-backable adjustments that prevent spring compression beyond safe limits, as well as a hardened spool and cage for extended durability. It offers optional spring ranges up to 240 bar (3500 psi) and ensures rapid and smooth responses to pressure surges while maintaining cost-effective cavity performance.
