The Hydraforce 5623304.15 (Material Number: 5623304.15) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, pilot-operated (two-stage), spool-type relief valve designed for use as a pressure limiting device in demanding hydraulic circuits that require fast response and low hysteresis. This valve efficiently blocks flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 is sufficient to unseat the pilot relief, prompting the main stage to shift and open the flow between the ports. Notably, this valve is not suitable for cross-over relief applications. Key features include adjustments that cannot be backed out of the valve, preventing springs from going solid, and a hardened spool and cage for enhanced durability. Additionally, it offers optional spring ranges up to 240 bar (3500 psi) and ensures rapid, smooth responses to pressure surges, all within a cost-effective cavity design.
