The Hydraforce 5623094.27 (Material Number: 5623094.27) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, pilot-operated (two-stage), spool-type relief valve. It is designed as a pressure-limiting device suitable for demanding hydraulic circuits that require quick response and minimal hysteresis. The RV12-26X model operates by blocking flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 is sufficient to unseat the pilot relief, which then allows the main stage to shift and open the flow path between the two ports. Notably, this valve is not suitable for cross-over relief applications. Key features include non-backable adjustments that prevent springs from going solid, a hardened spool and cage for extended durability, and optional spring ranges up to 240 bar (3500 psi). The valve ensures rapid and smooth responses to pressure surges while maintaining cost-effectiveness through its efficient cavity design.
