The RV12-26X model operates by blocking flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 is sufficient to activate the pilot relief, which then allows the main stage to shift and open the flow from port 1 to port 2. This valve is not suitable for cross-over relief applications. It features adjustments that cannot be backed out of the valve, preventing the springs from becoming solid, and includes a hardened spool and cage for enhanced durability.
