The Hydraforce 5623080.03.5 (Material Number 5623080.03.5) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, pilot-operated spool type relief valve designed for use as a pressure limiting device in demanding hydraulic circuits that require fast response and low hysteresis. This valve operates by blocking flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 is sufficient to unseat the pilot relief, which then allows the main stage to shift and open port 1 to port 2. It is important to note that this valve cannot be used in cross-over relief applications. Key features include adjustments that cannot be backed out of the valve, preventing springs from going solid, and a hardened spool and cage for extended durability. The RV12-26X offers optional spring ranges up to 240 bar (3500 psi) and provides rapid, smooth responses to pressure surges within a cost-effective cavity design.
