The Hydraforce 5623004.23 (Material Number: 5623004.23) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, pilot-operated spool-type relief valve designed for use as a pressure-limiting device in demanding hydraulic circuits that require fast response and low hysteresis. This RV12-26X model efficiently blocks flow from port 1 to port 2 until sufficient pressure at port 1 activates the pilot relief, allowing the main stage to shift and open the flow path. Notably, this valve is not suitable for cross-over relief applications. Key features include non-backable adjustments that prevent springs from going solid and a hardened spool and cage for extended durability. The valve offers optional spring ranges up to 240 bar (3500 psi) and ensures rapid, smooth responses to pressure surges, all within a cost-effective cavity design.
