The Hydraforce 5623004.09 (5623004.09) is a robust screw-in, cartridge-style, pilot-operated spool type relief valve designed for high-demand hydraulic circuits requiring rapid response and minimal hysteresis. This two-stage valve effectively limits pressure by blocking flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 is sufficient to unseat the pilot relief, which then shifts the main stage to open the flow between the ports. Notably, this valve is not suitable for cross-over relief applications. Key features include adjustments that cannot be backed out of the valve, preventing springs from going solid and ensuring durability with a hardened spool and cage. The RV12-26X offers optional spring ranges up to 240 bar (3500 psi), providing a cost-effective solution with rapid and smooth response to pressure surges, making it an ideal choice for demanding hydraulic systems.
