The Hydraforce 5623000.02.5 (Material Number 5623000.02.5) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, pilot-operated spool type relief valve designed for pressure limiting in demanding hydraulic circuits requiring rapid response and minimal hysteresis. This relief valve operates by blocking flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 is sufficient to unseat the pilot relief, allowing the main stage to shift and open the flow path between the ports. It is important to note that this valve is not suitable for cross-over relief applications. The design features include non-backable adjustments that prevent springs from solidifying, along with a hardened spool and cage for enhanced durability. Additionally, it offers optional spring ranges up to 240 bar (3500 psi) and provides a cost-effective cavity solution while ensuring smooth and quick responses to pressure surges.
