This valve features an internal pilot and an internal spring chamber drain, allowing it to maintain steady state operations by enabling bidirectional flow between port 2 and port 1 while continuously draining the spring chamber at port 3. When the pressure at port 1 reaches a predetermined level, the spool within the valve shifts to restrict incoming flow from port 2, effectively regulating the pressure at port 1.
