The Hydraforce 5615462.18 (5615462.18) is a spool type, pilot-operated hydraulic pressure reducing/relieving valve designed to function as a pressure regulating device for secondary circuits. This model features an internal pilot and an internal spring chamber drain, allowing it to efficiently manage hydraulic pressure levels. In its steady state, the PR10-36XX valve permits bidirectional flow from port 2 to port 1 while maintaining a constant drain at port 3. When the pressure at port 1 reaches a predetermined level, the spool shifts to restrict inlet flow from port 2, thus regulating the pressure at port 1 and relieving excess pressure from port 1 to port 3. The valve includes features such as adjustments that cannot be backed out and springs that are prevented from going solid, ensuring reliable operation. Optional spring ranges extend up to 207 bar (3000 psi), providing flexibility in various applications. The hardened spool and cage components contribute to the valve's durability and long service life. Additionally, the valve is available with an optional screen protection for port 2, rated at 60 mesh or 250 microns, enhancing its reliability in demanding environments. With its industry-common size, this model is suitable for integration into existing systems without requiring extensive modifications.
