The Hydraforce 5615016.M160 (5615016.M160) is a spool type, pilot operated hydraulic pressure reducing/relieving valve, specifically designed to function as a pressure regulating device for secondary circuits. It features an internal pilot and an internal spring chamber drain. In its steady state, the PR50-36XX model allows bidirectional flow from port 2 to port 1 while maintaining a constant drain at port 3. When the predetermined pressure at port 1 is reached, the spool shifts to regulate inlet flow from port 2, effectively managing the pressure at port 1. Additionally, this valve can relieve excess pressure from port 1 to port 3 in this mode. The design includes adjustments that cannot be backed out of the valve and ensures that springs do not go solid during operation. Optional spring ranges are available up to 345 bar (5000 psi). The valve is constructed with a hardened spool and cage for extended durability and fits an industry-common size.
