The Hydraforce 5614905.18.5 (5614905.18.5) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, direct-acting spool type hydraulic pressure reducing/relieving valve designed for use in secondary circuits. With its internal spring chamber drain and spool damping chamber, this valve efficiently regulates pressure by allowing bidirectional flow from port 2 to port 1 in its steady state while maintaining a constant drain at port 3. When a predetermined pressure is reached at port 1, the valve shifts to block flow at port 2, thus regulating the pressure at port 1 and relieving it to port 3 at a variable value over the set reducing pressure. The PR50-38XXX model features adjustments that prevent springs from going solid and cannot be backed out of the valve, offering optional spring ranges up to 227.5 bar (3300 psi).
