In its default state, the PR50-38XXX model allows bidirectional flow from port 2 to port 1 while maintaining a constant drain at port 3. When the pressure at port 1 reaches a predetermined level, the valve shifts to block flow at port 2, thus regulating the pressure at port 1. Additionally, this valve can relieve excess pressure from port 1 to port 3 over a variable range above the set reducing pressure.
