The Hydraforce 5614901.M80 (5614901.M80) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, direct-acting spool type hydraulic pressure reducing/relieving valve. It features an internal spring chamber drain and a spool damping chamber, making it an effective pressure regulating device for secondary circuits. The valve allows bidirectional flow from port 2 to port 1 in its steady state while maintaining constant drainage at port 3. When a predetermined pressure is reached at port 1, the cartridge shifts to block flow at port 2, thus regulating the pressure at port 1. Additionally, the valve can relieve pressure from port 1 to port 3 over a variable value above the set reducing pressure.
