The Hydraforce 5614901.17.5 (5614901.17.5) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, direct-acting, spool-type hydraulic pressure reducing/relieving valve with an internal spring chamber drain and spool damping chamber. This valve is specifically designed to function as a pressure regulating device for secondary circuits in hydraulic systems. It allows bidirectional flow from port 2 to port 1 while maintaining a constant drain at port 3 in its steady state. When the pressure at port 1 reaches a predetermined level, the valve shifts to block flow at port 2, effectively regulating the pressure at port 1. Additionally, it can relieve pressure from port 1 to port 3 at variable values over the set reducing pressure.
