In its steady state, the pr50-38xxx model allows bidirectional flow from port 2 to port 1, with continuous drainage at port 3. When the pressure at port 1 reaches a predetermined level, the valve shifts to block flow at port 2, effectively regulating the pressure at port 1 while also offering relief from port 1 to port 3 at variable values above the set reducing pressure.
