The Hydraforce 5614449.16 (5614449.16) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, direct-acting spool-type hydraulic pressure reducing/relieving valve. It features an internal spring chamber drain and a spool damping chamber, making it an effective pressure regulating device for secondary circuits. This valve allows bidirectional flow from port 2 to port 1 in its steady state while maintaining a constant drain at port 3. When the predetermined pressure at port 1 is reached, the cartridge shifts to block flow at port 2, thereby regulating the pressure at port 1. Additionally, the valve can relieve pressure from port 1 to port 3 at a variable value over the set reducing pressure. The design includes features such as non-backable adjustments that prevent springs from going solid and optional spring ranges up to 227.5 bar (3300 psi).
