The Hydraforce 5614447.24 (5614447.24) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, direct-acting, spool-type hydraulic pressure reducing/relieving valve with an internal spring chamber drain and spool damping chamber. It is engineered to function as a pressure regulating device for secondary circuits, ensuring optimal performance in hydraulic systems. In its steady state, the PR50-38XXX model allows bidirectional flow from port 2 to port 1 while maintaining a constant drain in the spring chamber at port 3. When a predetermined pressure level is reached at port 1, the valve shifts to block flow at port 2, thereby regulating and maintaining the desired pressure at port 1. Additionally, this model has the capability to relieve pressure from port 1 to port 3 at variable values above the set reducing pressure. The valve features adjustments that cannot be backed out of the device and ensures that springs do not go solid during operation. Optional spring ranges are available up to 227.5 bar (3300 psi), allowing for versatility in various applications. Constructed with a hardened spool and cage, this valve offers enhanced durability and long life.
