In its default state, the PR50-38XXX model allows bidirectional flow from port 2 to port 1 while maintaining a constant drain at port 3. When a predetermined pressure is reached at port 1, the cartridge shifts to block flow at port 2, effectively regulating the pressure at port 1. Additionally, it can relieve excess pressure from port 1 to port 3 over the set reducing pressure value.
