The RV10-26X model operates by blocking flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 is sufficient to unseat the piloting relief, allowing the main (second stage) spool to shift and open port 1 to port 2. This valve is not suitable for cross-over relief applications. It features adjustments that cannot be backed out of the valve, with adjustment options A, B, and C having positive stops to prevent springs from going solid.
