The RV10-26X model blocks flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 reaches a level sufficient to unseat the piloting relief, allowing the main spool to shift and open the flow path from port 1 to port 2. It is important to note that this valve is not suitable for cross-over relief applications. The design includes several key features such as adjustments that cannot be backed out of the valve and positive stops on adjustment options A, B, and C to prevent springs from becoming solid.
