The Hydraforce 5613002.38 (5613002.38) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, pilot-operated (two-stage), spool-type hydraulic relief valve. It is designed to serve as a pressure-limiting device in demanding hydraulic circuits that require fast response and low hysteresis. The RV50-26X model operates by blocking flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 is sufficient to unseat the piloting relief, which allows the main spool to shift and open the flow path from port 1 to port 2. This valve is not suitable for cross-over relief applications. Key features of this model include adjustments that cannot be backed out of the valve, preventing springs from becoming solid, as well as a hardened spool and cage that ensure long life and durability. The design offers rapid and smooth response to pressure changes and fits an industry-common size for easy integration into various systems.
