The Hydraforce 5612564.M240 (5612564.M240) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, direct-acting poppet type relief valve designed for pressure limiting in hydraulic circuit protection. Known as the xrvd50-20x model, this valve efficiently blocks flow from port 1 to port 2 until a specified pressure at port 1 forces the poppet off its seat. This mechanism allows for fast response to load changes, making it ideal for circuits that require low hysteresis, minimal pressure rise, and reduced internal leakage. Notable features include adjustments that cannot be backed out of the valve and an adjuster whose height remains constant when altering the pressure setting. The valve is constructed with a hardened poppet and cage, ensuring long-lasting durability. It offers optional spring ranges up to 345 bar (5000 psi) and provides rapid response to pressure changes within an industry-common cavity design.
