The Hydraforce 5610409.M120 (5610409.M120) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, direct-acting poppet type hydraulic relief valve designed for pressure limiting in hydraulic circuits. It is compatible with both mineral-based and synthetic hydraulic fluids that possess lubricating properties. The RV10-20X model controls flow from port 1 to port 2 by blocking it until the pressure at port 1 is sufficient to dislodge the poppet from its seat, allowing for quick response to load changes while maintaining low internal leakage. This relief valve is suitable for common hydraulic circuit protection and can be used in various applications where reliable pressure control is necessary. Note that while this model serves as an effective solution, Hydraforce recommends considering the RVD58-20 as a best-in-class alternative due to its superior performance characteristics such as smaller size, comparable pressure and flow ratings, and better pressure rise characteristics.
