The Hydraforce 5610406.M62 (5610406.M62) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, direct-acting, poppet-type hydraulic relief valve designed for pressure limiting in hydraulic circuit protection. This valve operates by blocking flow from port 1 to port 2 until a specific pressure at port 1 forces the poppet off its seat. It is suitable for use with mineral-based or synthetic hydraulic fluids that possess lubricating properties. The RV10-20X model is known for its quick response to load changes and low internal leakage, making it ideal for typical hydraulic circuits. Although it has been superseded by the RVD58-20 model, which offers better pressure rise characteristics and a smaller size, the RV10-20X remains effective in existing applications. However, it is not recommended for crossover applications where corrosion resistance is required.
