The Hydraforce 5610406.08.7 (5610406.08.7) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, direct-acting, poppet-type hydraulic relief valve designed to serve as a pressure-limiting device for standard hydraulic circuit protection. This model is compatible with both mineral-based and synthetic hydraulic fluids that possess lubricating properties. The RV10-20X operates by blocking flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 is sufficient to move the poppet from its seat, allowing for fast response to load changes in typical hydraulic circuits while maintaining low internal leakage. It is suitable for existing and new applications, although it is noted that the RVD58-20 can functionally replace this valve in most scenarios due to its better pressure rise characteristics and comparable response rate despite being smaller in size and not a drop-in replacement.
