The Hydraforce 5610405.M25 (Material Number: 5610405.M25) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, direct-acting, poppet-type hydraulic relief valve designed to serve as a pressure limiting device for standard hydraulic circuit protection. This valve is intended for use with mineral-based or synthetic hydraulic fluids possessing lubricating properties. The RV10-20X model effectively blocks flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 reaches a level sufficient to dislodge the poppet from its seat. This design ensures rapid response to load changes in typical hydraulic circuits while maintaining low internal leakage. Notably, although this valve serves existing and new applications efficiently, it has been functionally succeeded by the RVD58-20 model, which offers comparable pressure and flow ratings in a smaller package with improved pressure rise characteristics and no dynamic seals. The RV10-20X is not recommended for crossover applications, with its corrosion-resistant variant GRV10-20 also advised against such use.
