The Hydraforce 5610403.22.5 (5610403.22.5) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, direct-acting, poppet-type hydraulic relief valve designed for pressure limiting in hydraulic circuits. This valve is compatible with both mineral-based and synthetic hydraulic fluids with lubricating properties. It operates by blocking flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 reaches a level sufficient to unseat the poppet, enabling fast response to load changes while maintaining low internal leakage. The RV10-20X model is suitable for existing and new applications, although users are encouraged to consider the newer RVD58-20 model for enhanced performance features such as smaller size, better pressure rise characteristics, and competitive cost. The RV10-20X should not be used in crossover applications when considering its corrosion-resistant version, GRV10-20.
