The Hydraforce 5610306.12 (5610306.12) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, direct-acting, poppet-type hydraulic relief valve designed to function as a pressure-limiting device for common hydraulic circuit protection. This model, known as the RV10-20X, is compatible with both mineral-based and synthetic hydraulic fluids that possess lubricating properties. The valve operates by blocking flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 is sufficient to unseat the poppet. This design ensures rapid response to load changes while maintaining low internal leakage, making it suitable for typical hydraulic circuits. Although this model has been superseded by the RVD58-20 in many applications due to enhanced features such as better pressure rise characteristics and a smaller size, it remains a viable option for existing and new applications where these specific attributes are not critical.
