The Hydraforce 5610203.33 (5610203.33) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, direct-acting, poppet-type hydraulic relief valve designed to function as a pressure limiting device for common hydraulic circuit protection. This valve is suitable for use with mineral-based or synthetic hydraulic fluids that possess lubricating properties. In operation, the RV10-20X model blocks flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 is sufficient to unseat the poppet, thereby allowing flow through the valve. It provides a rapid response to load changes and maintains low internal leakage in typical hydraulic circuits. While this model serves existing and new applications effectively, Hydraforce notes that their RVD58-20 model is considered best-in-class and can serve as a functional replacement in most scenarios, offering improvements such as better pressure rise characteristics and comparable response rates in a smaller size without dynamic seals.
