The RV10-20X model blocks flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 is sufficient to unseat the poppet, thereby providing quick response to load changes in typical hydraulic circuits that require minimal internal leakage. It is important to note that while this valve serves its intended purpose effectively, Hydraforce suggests considering their RVD58-20 model as a superior alternative in most applications due to its enhanced performance characteristics such as better pressure rise attributes and a smaller size.
