The Hydraforce 5610103.26 (5610103.26) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, direct-acting, poppet-type hydraulic relief valve designed to function as a pressure limiting device for common hydraulic circuit protection. This valve is compatible with mineral-based or synthetic hydraulic fluids that possess lubricating properties. The RV10-20X model operates by blocking flow from port 1 to port 2 until sufficient pressure at port 1 forces the poppet off its seat, allowing for quick response to load changes in typical hydraulic circuits while maintaining low internal leakage. The valve is suitable for existing and new applications, although it is noted that the RVD58-20 model is considered a best-in-class relief valve and can functionally replace the RV10-20X in most applications due to its smaller size, comparable pressure and flow ratings, similar response rate, better pressure rise characteristics, and competitive cost. However, it should be noted that the GRV10-20 corrosion-resistant version of this valve is not recommended for crossover applications.
