The Hydraforce 5610100.04 (Material Number: 5610100.04) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, direct-acting, poppet-type hydraulic relief valve designed for use as a pressure-limiting device in common hydraulic circuit protection. This valve is compatible with both mineral-based and synthetic hydraulic fluids that possess lubricating properties. The RV10-20X model operates by blocking flow from port 1 to port 2 until sufficient pressure at port 1 forces the poppet from its seat, providing fast response to load changes in typical hydraulic circuits while maintaining low internal leakage. This makes it ideal for applications where quick response and minimal leakage are critical factors. It should be noted that while the RV10-20X is effective for many existing and new applications, the RVD58-20 model is considered the best-in-class relief valve offered by Hydraforce and can functionally replace this valve in most scenarios, offering benefits such as smaller size, comparable pressure and flow ratings, similar response rates, better pressure rise characteristics, and competitive cost. However, the GRV10-20 corrosion-resistant version of this valve is not recommended for crossover applications.
