The RV10-20X model blocks flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 reaches a level sufficient to unseat the poppet, allowing the flow to continue. It offers a rapid response to load changes, making it ideal for typical hydraulic circuits that require low internal leakage. Although it is an efficient solution for existing and new applications, Hydraforce suggests considering the newer RVD58-20 model as a potential replacement due to its superior performance characteristics such as better pressure rise attributes and smaller size.
