The Hydraforce 5610004VC.20 (Material Number 5610004VC.20) is a screw-in, cartridge-style, direct-acting, poppet-type hydraulic relief valve designed for pressure limiting in hydraulic circuits. It effectively protects systems using mineral-based or synthetic hydraulic fluids with lubricating properties. The valve functions by blocking flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 reaches a level sufficient to unseat the poppet, allowing for rapid response to load changes while maintaining low internal leakage. This model is suitable for existing and new applications, although it is noted that the RVD58-20 valve may serve as a more advanced alternative in most scenarios due to its superior pressure rise characteristics and reduced size. However, the RV10-20X remains a reliable choice for general hydraulic circuit protection where crossover applications are not required.
