The Hydraforce 5610004.25 (Material Number: 5610004.25) is a hydraulic relief valve designed as a pressure-limiting device for hydraulic circuit protection. This screw-in, cartridge-style valve is direct acting and poppet type, making it suitable for use with mineral-based or synthetic hydraulic fluids that have lubricating properties. The RV10-20X model operates by blocking flow from port 1 to port 2 until the pressure at port 1 is sufficient to unseat the poppet, allowing fluid to pass through. It provides a fast response to load changes, which is essential in typical hydraulic circuits that require low internal leakage. Although this model can be used in both existing and new applications, it is noted that the RVD58-20 model offers improved performance and can replace the RV10-20X in most scenarios due to its better pressure rise characteristics and comparable response rate.
