The Hydraforce RV10-20A-0-N-33/15 (5610003.15) is a direct acting, poppet-type hydraulic relief valve designed for use as a pressure limiting device in hydraulic circuits. This screw-in cartridge style valve effectively blocks flow from port 1 to 2 until the pressure at port 1 is sufficient to unseat the poppet, offering rapid response to load changes and minimal internal leakage. It is compatible with mineral-based or synthetic hydraulic fluids that possess lubricating properties. The RV10-20A model is engineered to handle a pressure rating of up to 228 bar (3300 psi) and can withstand proof pressures of up to 517.1 bar (7500 psi) and burst pressures reaching 1037.7 bar (15000 psi). The valve demonstrates a crack pressure defined at a flow rate of 0.95 lpm, with reseat pressure nominally set at 85% of the crack pressure. This relief valve accommodates fluid temperatures ranging from -40°C to 100°C with Buna N seals, -26°C to 204°C with fluorocarbon seals, and -54°C to 107°C using polyurethane seals, making it versatile for various operational environments. With corrosion protection via Type III clear zinc plating per ASTM B633 standards, the RV10-20A ensures durability against environmental elements. Installation requires a VC10-2 cavity with cartridge installation torques between 33.9 and 36.7 N-m. The RV10-20A supports fluid viscosities from 7.4 to 420 cSt and maintains an operating contamination level of ISO 4406's class of 18/16/13, ensuring reliable performance in demanding conditions. Weighing approximately between 0.22 kg and 0.28 kg depending on configuration, this relief valve serves as an efficient component for hydraulic system protection against excess pressure buildup, thereby safeguarding equipment integrity and enhancing system longevity.
